This room transformation was created for Emily Rose, a wonderful little girl diagnosed with Stage 4 Ewing’s Sarcoma.

Designing her space came with unique challenges, as she shares a room with her teenage brother. However, with faith, love, and determination, we were able to create a space that was truly hers.

Emily’s favorite color is blue, and she dreamed of having a vanity table where she could experiment with colorful makeup and feel beautiful. To bring her vision to life, we designed a cozy and private nook within her small walk-in closet, giving her a special place of her own. By incorporating the calming hues she loves and thoughtful personal touches, we ensured her bedroom became a sanctuary she can truly cherish.

Emily’s friend had passed away, and the only keepsake she had was a beloved blue summer dress.
To honor their friendship, I transformed the dress into a throw pillow and placed it on her
bed - a comforting reminder that she can hold close whenever she misses her friend.

Above her bed, I arranged photographs of Emily and her family, creating a cocoon of love that surrounds her each night.

For her vanity area, we utilized the space inside her small walk-in closet. By organizing the closet,
we made room for a wall mirror and a floating shelf, crafting a cozy and personal space just for her.

To provide more privacy, a divider bookshelf was placed between Emily’s bed and her brother’s,
creating two separate areas while maintaining functionality.

A small roll-away laptop table was also added, allowing Emily to pull it close to her bed whenever
she needs to do homework or simply unwind.

Every child deserves a safe and loving space where they can heal and thrive—a place that is truly
theirs, filled with God’s love and all the little things that bring them comfort and joy.

It was both a privilege and a blessing to create this special space for Emily.
